GARBALLEY - At the request of Miss Gregoire of Marlborough and Mr.598 Gentile of Sudbury, will the members, guests, and employees please stand in a moment of silent tribute in respect to the memory of longtime Marlborough City Councilor, Donald Landers Senior, who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 83. Mr. Landers dedicated over 30 years to the Marlboro Public Schools as assistant superintendent, business department chairman, and director of adult education. He also founded Marlborough Youth Baseball and the Aki Runo Japan Cultural Exchange Program, leaving a lasting mark on the city's youth. For 18 years, he served as Ward 7 City Councilor, known for his tireless advocacy, warm demeanor, and role as Marlborough's Ambassador. He took pride in welcoming new city employees and was a strong supporter of the city's workforce. His leadership extended to the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce, where he once served as chairman. Mr. Landers will be deeply missed. His legacy of service and dedication to Marlborough will not be forgotten. He is survived by his beloved wife, Betsy, his sons Donald687 Junior and Michael, and a grateful community. Thank you.
