House of Leonardo, at the request of, miss Zarego of Chicopee and all members of the house and employees, please stand in a moment of silent tribute in respect to the memory of longtime Chicopee Counselor Robert Ziggy Zagorowski, who passed away in 03/24/2023 at the age of 80. Counselor Zegorowski was highly respected community advocate. He was a police officer for 28 years for the city of Chicopee and from 1974 to 02/2002 where he started the canine unit and served as a canine officer from 1983 to 1990. He started and directed the DARE program from 1990 to 02/2002 and was past president of local 4 0 1 BPO and a member of the Chicopee Patrolman's Association. He served the beloved community as a consulate lodge from 02/2004 to present. Mister Zavikowski will be greatly missed. His passing is a great loss for Chicopee, and he will be deeply missed by the community. He leads his 4 loving children, Ryan, Sean Robert Junior, and Gina of Chicopee, and their spouses, 7 cherished grandchildren, and many other loved grandchildren.
